Episode 72
Are you Truly Called
The primary focus of this podcast episode revolves around the profound impact of current world events and politics on holistic health, emphasizing the necessity for active engagement rather than passive distraction. As I navigate through the complexities of societal unrest, particularly in relation to recent riots in Los Angeles and surrounding areas, I underscore the importance of understanding the intricate connections between our personal well-being and the broader socio-political context. We acknowledge that while not every individual is called to participate in political discourse, there exists a moral imperative for Christians to remain informed and compassionate towards those affected by these events. I implore listeners to discern whether they are being called to action or to prayer, reinforcing the notion that genuine care for our communities extends beyond mere acknowledgment of suffering. Ultimately, the episode serves as a clarion call for Christians to embody love and truth in their engagements, both in conversation and in action, as we strive to fulfill our divine mandate amidst a tumultuous world.
Takeaways:
- Holistic health encompasses awareness of current events, which can deeply affect our well-being.
- We must discern whether God calls us to engage with world issues or simply to pray.
- Understanding world politics is essential as they can influence our lives and communities.
- Christians are urged to share the gospel while navigating discussions on sensitive topics like political events.

Speaker A:Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Casting Seeds.
Speaker A:I'm Savannah, your holistic health practitioner and host, and you're listening to the only holistic health podcast that uses God's singular truth to give you individualized discernment.
Speaker A:Today is going to be very different because I, I think we've only had one other podcast episode that's been kind of on a current event or, you know, besides, like, the nourishing news that we do every once in a while be specifically on, I guess, more politics.
Speaker A:And the reason why I, I wanted to talk about this today is because I think often we use podcasts or TV shows or I don't even holistic health or health in general to kind of distract from any world events or current events or even community events that are happening around us, to not get involved or to not speak up or to not do things.
Speaker A:And that is the exact opposite of especially what holistic health is, let alone holistic health.
Speaker A:You know, we often say that you should shake the hand of the person who's feeding you.
Speaker A:So if it's a gardener, if it's a local farmer, you should go to their property and get to know them and get to know your community of who makes the food that gets put into your mouth.
Speaker A:And it should be the same thing for the people who make laws around you.
Speaker A:So I, I say this with a grain of salt, because I'm not.
Speaker A:I don't think everyone is called into politics just the same way that not everyone's called into teaching, not everyone's called into preaching, not everyone's called to host, you know, all those things.
Speaker A:But I just wanted to have a specific episode explaining that world events in world politics, the way that it's exposed to us now, can harm us holistically because we weren't made as humans to know every single thing that's happening around the world all the time.
Speaker A:And it also causes us to have a very skewed view of the situation in general because, one, we aren't there.
Speaker A:We're not experiencing, like, bombing or a genocide or, you know, a mass.
Speaker A:I don't know, there's all sorts of things that happen that are horrific all around the world, or even an earthquake, like natural disasters.
Speaker A:We aren't necessarily there for that.
Speaker A:But then I know some people are much more empathetic than others, but a lot of people can deeply be affected by that who aren't even there or don't have any relatives there or have zero connection at all.
Speaker A:And it can just add a lot of extra stress that's why you'll hear people often say, like, yeah, you know, I just, I don't pay attention to the news or I don't pay attention to politics.
Speaker A:It's all just too stressful.
Speaker A:But unfortunately, world news and world politics and all these things really do affect us now because the whole world really is intertwined and more into interconnected than ever before.
Speaker A:So holistically, we really can't fully ignore those things.
Speaker A:And it also isn't necessarily wise to do that either because these things can affect you.
Speaker A:And as Christians know, I mean, ultimately, at the end of the day, whether or not you believe in, you know, we'll be raptured or not, or, you know, whatever part we are in end times, the goal is, you know, for a one world government to happen.
Speaker A:So paying attention to these signs and these symbols are, are important.
Speaker A:Even if there's some disagreement on what fully is to come, we do know that that is a huge thing that will come in time because God has ordained it to happen in order for Christ's second coming.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So at the end of this, I just want you guys to know, because the main topic of what made me think of doing this today is the LA riots.
Speaker A:And now it's happening in Santa Ana, which is in Orange county, where we live.
Speaker A:Jeremiah's family is also in la, and we may not even be able to go celebrate his father's birthday this weekend because the military is now here in la, the, the Marines and the National Guard.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:And there's a huge conflict between the President and President Trump and Gavin Newsom, our governor.
Speaker A:I'm not just saying this so that I can ask for prayer, because I definitely am.
Speaker A:I'm asking for prayer for all of California, always, because it's pretty wrecked here.
Speaker A:But ultimately, at the end of the day, I'm not turning a blind eye to these things or pretending like it's not happening or going to a normal podcast episode and not talking about these things that are on my heart because they are in the forefront of us, it's literally on our doorstep.
Speaker A:And I'm also not going to give you a discussion on ICE and whether or not believe people should be here or not be here, because all of that doesn't matter.
Speaker A:I mean, it does for our tax dollars.
Speaker A:But at the end of the day, I want to give you guys, as Christians, ways for you to be able to comprehend and understand what's being presented in front of you.
Speaker A:One, and then two, whether or not you're actually called to deal with it or have an opinion on it or have a say or care, obviously, to your close family and friends, you can have these discussions, but is God actually calling you to care about it and have an action?
Speaker A:And then three, if you are, go do it, and if you're not, then, you know, acknowledge it, pray for those people and move on.
Speaker A:Because we're called at the end of the day to share the gospel and live it out.
Speaker A:And that's it.
Speaker A:That's it as Christians.
Speaker A:So I wanted to help you guys kind of learn how to diffuse these conversations, especially with.
Speaker A:What's a good way of putting this, Especially with heated family or friends who may have very, very strong opinions.
Speaker A:Like, for instance, the Israeli and Pakistani.
Speaker A:You know, is it Pakistan?
Speaker A:I can't even think now.
Speaker A:It's not Pakistan.
Speaker A:See, this is how much my pregnancy brain is.
Speaker A:Is doing this to me.
Speaker A:This is so embarrassing.
Speaker A:What I meant to say was Israeli Palestine issue.
Speaker A:Obviously, people assumed that Jeremiah and I both felt a certain way about it because we're Christ.
Speaker A:And people were kind of shocked to hear, and I'll speak on my, like, my own opinion versus Jeremiah's.
Speaker A:People were shocked to hear that I'm not a Zionist and that I don't really care about what happens to the Holy Land.
Speaker A:I care about the Israeli people and the Palestinian people.
Speaker A:Those.
Speaker A:The fact that there is so much death and war and chaos, that breaks my heart.
Speaker A:And I want them to be able to hear the Lord.
Speaker A:I want them to be able to know the gospel and know the truth, and I want them to be saved at the end of the day.
Speaker A:And knowing that so many lives are being lost and the possibility, high probability of most of them not being saved, that's what breaks my heart.
Speaker A:And that's literally all I care about about that whole situation.
Speaker A:Everything else, I don't care.
Speaker A:And I feel like that's a biblical view to take.
Speaker A:And, yeah, people were kind of surprised when I had that opinion.
Speaker A:But I'm.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:I'm not a Zionist.
Speaker A:I don't care about Zion, and I don't think Jewish people are our brothers and sisters.
Speaker A:I don't think Palestinians are my brothers and sisters.
Speaker A:My only brothers and sisters are Christians.
Speaker A:And if you're not a brother or sister in Christ, then all I care about is helping you get to salvation.
Speaker A:And how can I do that?
Speaker A:And that's the thing.
Speaker A:That's why this process, I think with world events, I really had to learn holistically to be like.
Speaker A:Because I'm a doer.
Speaker A:To be like, okay, am I?
Speaker A:If I Feel bad about this is God calling me to do this.
Speaker A:So we're gonna break down what God actually is like when he's actually calling people and whether or not, you know, you're actually being called to do something, if you're getting that conviction or if you just have hurt over sin.
Speaker A:And that's okay, you can hurt over sin, but not be called to actually be a part of what's to fix it.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So that.
Speaker A:And then second step is, are you, are you gonna do it?
Speaker A:If you're called and then you ignore it, that's a sin.
Speaker A:But if you're not called and you're forcing your way into something, is that sinful as well?
Speaker A:So I feel like this is a good conversation to have, even with people at your church or with other brothers and sisters in Christ, your own family.
Speaker A:Um, I of often hear my own family complain about a lot of world events and talk about it over and over and over again.
Speaker A:Or even the la, you know, riots that are happening right now.
Speaker A:And now I can officially say Orange county riots, and people will have a lot to say.
Speaker A:But you'll notice that there's not a lot of kindness or remorse or hurt over both sides in both parties.
Speaker A:It's just very much a, you know, well, who cares?
Speaker A:They're illegal immigrants or who cares?
Speaker A:They're the police and they kill people.
Speaker A:You should care because you're a Christian.
Speaker A:And if people are dying, if people are getting hurt and there's a lot of suffering, the question is now are you called to go and be a part of it and help love on people and pull them out of it, or are you not?
Speaker A:And then if so, what's the point of just talking about it over and over and over again?
Speaker A:What are you doing right now in your own community to help assure and reassure that this is not going to happen in your community?
Speaker A:How are you loving outside of your circle to bring your community in biblically?
Speaker A:And this, to me, is the most holistic, radical thing that Jesus did consistently.
Speaker A:While he loved on people, he made food, brought people into the homes he helped host, he helped love on people and, and he did it biblically in a way that people had never experienced before.
Speaker A:I'm so sorry.
Speaker A:If you guys can hear screaming in the background.
Speaker A:Our neighbors have people over unexpectedly and it's summertime, so if you hear yelling and screaming, we have these cute kid neighbors and they're all playing games.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:But yeah, let's get into it because I feel like we have a.
Speaker A:A little smidge to cover Here.
Speaker A:And one of the things I first want to mention is that it's not about mastering or understanding world conflict, but we have to understand that we have God's wisdom for his purpose that allows a sense of peace that helps you decipher whether or not you're called into that conflict to actually help.
Speaker A:So I would love you guys, instead of me reading it, I want you to read all of James one, all of two Timothy four and first Peter.
Speaker A:But first Peter five, specifically all of all of this.
Speaker A:James one, second Timothy four and first Peter.
Speaker A:Yeah, I.
Speaker A:I really do think that they're very practical.
Speaker A:I mean, I think James is a practical, wonderful book in general.
Speaker A:But these specifically help you kind of in a kind way help you understand that people doing sinful and honestly just like stupid things around you mostly need prayer and love because they're living in a state of fear consistently.
Speaker A:And we all know that perfect love casts out all fear.
Speaker A:So the question is, are you called to love on these people, to help them get out of the state of fear by showing them and leading them to the gospel, or are you not?
Speaker A:And if not, you can still pray from them for afar.
Speaker A:And that's just as strong and just as biblical as if God was calling you to come be in their lives.
Speaker A:So, yeah, that's.
Speaker A:Let's get into the next part because I have so many verses to get into this and I know this is probably not what you guys were expecting to hear this week, and honestly I wasn't expecting to have this podcast episode this week, but it just.
Speaker A:All of this came hurling down at us last week and it's just been weighing so heavenly on our hearts.
Speaker A:And the fact that we can't even go celebrate my father in law's birthday this weekend because I'm pregnant and they're pulling over random cars and beating people for no reason who just don't look Hispanic, even though I am Hispanic.
Speaker A:We just can't risk our baby and our lives.
Speaker A:So it just, it breaks my heart and it makes me really sad that this is happening so close and I know that there's nothing I can do.
Speaker A:Same thing with the LA fires that happened.
Speaker A:We definitely did not feel called to go be a part of that in any way, but our church helped in a lot of ways.
Speaker A:So it's just hard.
Speaker A:It's hard sometimes when you know that you're not being called into something.
Speaker A:And sometimes people can make you feel guilty or feel bad.
Speaker A:The same thing can happen with serving at church too.
Speaker A:Like, well, we have a real need in this ministry.
Speaker A:And it's like, yeah, I know that's great, but I'm.
Speaker A:Unfortunately, I'm not being called into it right now.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:Yeah, it just.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So I just really relate to this.
Speaker A:Okay, so how do I know when God is telling me something, like, versus my wants, my fears, my actions?
Speaker A:So if we think about James 1:5, if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to Him.
Speaker A:Uh, there's also Psalm 37.
Speaker A:Seven, be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.
Speaker A:So if you don't know what to pray, you can always personalize and pray verses like Psalm 143.
Speaker A:8.
Speaker A:Show me the way I should go for.
Speaker A:Show me the way I should go for you.
Speaker A:I lift up my soul.
Speaker A:Or Psalm 25.
Speaker A:Five, guide me and in your truth and teach me.
Speaker A:So literally, if you don't even know what to pray, you can ask God, like, tell me what you want me to pray.
Speaker A:Tell me what you want to focus on.
Speaker A:Why am I having this conviction?
Speaker A:Where is it actually coming from?
Speaker A:And the primary way God commands us is through his word.
Speaker A:Uh, second Timothy 3, 16.
Speaker A:All scripture is good.
Speaker A:Oh, I'm sorry.
Speaker A:All Scripture is God breathed it is good, too, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:If Scripture commands something of us, there's no need to hesitate and wonder if it's really God's will for us because he cares so much about us that he already gave a plan and a clear guidebook to life, which is the Bible.
Speaker A:So that's also why in Psalm 119 and Psalm 119, verse 105 says, your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Speaker A:Uh, Psalm 19, 7, the law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul.
Speaker A:The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
Speaker A:And then Psalm 119,9.
Speaker A:How can a young man keep his way pure?
Speaker A:By living according to youo Word.
Speaker A:So God never contradicts himself.
Speaker A:We talk about that also often in this podcast, that God is not a God of confusion, so he'll never ask you to do something that's contradictory to Scripture.
Speaker A:So if you know Scripture, if you understand who God is through Scripture, he will never ask you to sin, and it won't be confusing if he's asking you to do something.
Speaker A:So if it ever sounds sinful or confusing or doesn't align with Scripture, you can know that it's definitely coming from your flesh.
Speaker A:Or the world or the enemy right powers and principalities.
Speaker A:He will never ask you to do something that Jesus Christ wouldn't do.
Speaker A:We need to immerse ourselves in the Bible so we can know which actions meet God's standards.
Speaker A:Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth.
Speaker A:Meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything that is written in it.
Speaker A:And that's Joshua 1:8.
Speaker A:So Christians, you know, also have with this thing called the Holy Spirit to help us discern what is or isn't God's will for our lives.
Speaker A:The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth.
Speaker A: That's John: Speaker A:And sometimes the Holy Spirit will either agitate our conscience, right?
Speaker A:We feel guilty, we feel convicted if we're making the wrong decision, or he'll even encourage us to when we're leaning towards the right decision.
Speaker A:You know, you get that, a good conviction.
Speaker A:Even if he doesn't intervene.
Speaker A:And in like super noticeable ways, we can have, we always can have confidence that he's in charge.
Speaker A:And sometimes God will alter the situation even without us knowing that he acted.
Speaker A:I think that's Isaiah 58, 11, where it says, the Lord will guide you always.
Speaker A:So sometimes you don't even realize he did something until.
Speaker A:And that's that thing where you, like, you look back and you're like, ah, that was Jesus.
Speaker A:That was him.
Speaker A:How funny.
Speaker A:But if God's calling you to take, you know, a leap of faith, which Christians do, we should be doing, we have to be encouraged by his presence.
Speaker A:And that's Joshua 1:9 specific specifically says, have I not commanded you?
Speaker A:Be strong and courageous, do not be terrified, do not be discouraged.
Speaker A:For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Speaker A:So you have to remember that you gotta cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Speaker A:Which that is Also first people, first.
Speaker A:Peter 5, 7.
Speaker A:I told you, I have so much scripture today, you guys, this is big on my heart.
Speaker A:Proverbs 3, 5, 6 also says, Trust the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Speaker A:In all your ways, acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.
Speaker A:Man, in all your ways, acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.
Speaker A:You don't even have to second guess or think about it at that point.
Speaker A:That's what God is saying right there.
Speaker A:So there's also a difference between everything that we spoke about, right?
Speaker A:Because people are going to hear this and they're going to say, oh, you know what, Here is a word from the Lord to You, I give you this, this word from the Lord, and I feel like that's kind of like a mantra driven experience where people hear like, oh, the Lord told me this to tell you, or the Lord spoke to me.
Speaker A:And we just, we kind of have to be careful with that as well.
Speaker A:Um, because sadly, what he, you know, quote unquote tells one person can often contradict what he, quote, tells another person also.
Speaker A:And these extra biblical revelations have proven to be actually kind of divisive within the church, and they really can tear Christians apart and tear them away from the church and the church body and lead to distrust and sin and honestly, just chaos, which is exactly what Satan wants.
Speaker A:When discord is sowed among believers, it really does break hearts.
Speaker A:So this isn't a, you know, green flag to do that in any way.
Speaker A:And you should always check your heart.
Speaker A:But we need to make.
Speaker A:Who was it?
Speaker A:The apostle?
Speaker A:It was the Apostle Peter.
Speaker A:We need to act like him through these, through this aspect.
Speaker A:And the reason why is because he went to the mount of Transfiguration.
Speaker A:Do you guys remember that?
Speaker A:In second Peter, where is it?
Speaker A:Actually, he went to the mountain transfiguration.
Speaker A:I think he went.
Speaker A:Okay, yeah, it was with.
Speaker A:He.
Speaker A:He was with Christ and Moses and Elijah.
Speaker A:And Peter refused to rely on that experience alone.
Speaker A:And instead he declared, like, we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do dwell and heed as a light that shines in dark places until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
Speaker A:That second Peter 1:18 through 19.
Speaker A:So Peter was saying, like, you know, the Word.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:My experience right here has been backed up by the Word.
Speaker A:It's not just like a he said, she said type of thing.
Speaker A:And he was in front of people who literally, God, God brought to him.
Speaker A:And he was like, well, you know, let's.
Speaker A:The only reason why I trust this is because it's backed up by scripture and that's what we need to be.
Speaker A:That this, all of this that I have mentioned is how we need to be acting as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Speaker A:And you can go to a hundred people and say, you know what?
Speaker A:I feel like God's really calling me to be a pastor.
Speaker A:I feel like God is really calling me to go in the middle of the LA riots and just speak and preach the Word.
Speaker A:I feel like God's really calling me to go to Israel and just stand amongst the people.
Speaker A:And I don't know, I.
Speaker A:I have no idea.
Speaker A:But have you noticed that, like, a lot of people, all of a sudden just magically feel called to go to these, do these really, really extreme things.
Speaker A:But then God never ends up being glorified in it.
Speaker A:And it's because you can tell they really didn't back up the, this feeling that they were getting with scripture.
Speaker A:And also too, they went to other people who instead of going to God's scripture and checked it on their hearts, they fed into more of a feeling base, like, yeah, you know what you are called, like, who is that guy who felt called to go spread the gospel with those people who are cannibals?
Speaker A:Um, it's like an island off of the coast of India.
Speaker A:They did a whole documentary on him.
Speaker A:And what sucks is the documentary actually like crapped on the Lord.
Speaker A:It was horrible.
Speaker A:And he did, he made God look dumb and Christians look dumb.
Speaker A:And it was all for like the sake of a glorified missionary field.
Speaker A:And this happens often.
Speaker A:So that's why I wanted to have this conversation because I feel like people don't understand how these world events and things that happen around them, how they actually can end up glorifying themselves and, and not the Lord.
Speaker A:And when they, whenever you self glorify, you look dumb and you make God look dumb and you make your brothers and sisters in Christ look dumb.
Speaker A:And you need to be held accountable for those things.
Speaker A:But it should never be to the point where you actually lose your life.
Speaker A:And that's happened so many times to our brothers and sisters all around the world who truly weren't being called into situations.
Speaker A:And I just, I ask and I beg people to genuinely check their hearts when one, when they're having those intense conversations or hearing people's intense opinions to really try to love on people through that, even if they totally have the opposite opinion of you.
Speaker A:I, I often have these harder conversations with Mormons, not just because my, a lot of my family is Mormon, but I have these harder conversations because a lot of that tends to pop up on my media.
Speaker A:And, and it's interesting too, because I had someone who wanted to do a debate against me about Mormonism because I just straight up said, yeah, Mormonism is a cult.
Speaker A:And they, he specifically did not like that.
Speaker A:And it was over the topic of soaking, which if you don't know what that is, I'll let you look it up.
Speaker A:But the fact that he was so defensive over it, I was like, okay, yeah, you're in deep because it's all about how close cults are, all about how close can I, how much can I sin and, and try to prove that it's God's.
Speaker A:You know, will for us.
Speaker A:And that's.
Speaker A:It's not true.
Speaker A:It's not even the same God.
Speaker A:So at the end of the day, he ended up bailing and not doing the interview, of course, because that's always what happens.
Speaker A:But I told him, even in the comment section, section, because he started off really rude and abrasive and unkind.
Speaker A:And I was like, you know, for a Mormon, you guys, you know, you only get to heaven through your acts of works, and what you're doing is not very loving.
Speaker A:And he immediately changed his tune, you know, so that's why I'm saying, like, I.
Speaker A:Was I honest?
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:And was.
Speaker A:Is honesty sometimes hard?
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:But honesty also is.
Speaker A:Because it is just that it's honest.
Speaker A:It's also loving and truth.
Speaker A:And I just said, like, hey, here are all the things that are sinful.
Speaker A:Here are all the things that are not biblical that don't match with the Bible.
Speaker A:If you want to talk about it, I'd love to give you a platform to do that, but you have to be respectful and kind and loving and understanding that.
Speaker A:It's not about you trying to convince me anything.
Speaker A:It's about you trying to prove that it matches with the Bible.
Speaker A:And I'm telling you already that you can't.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:And I was like, I'll be praying for you, and if you need anything, let me know.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And I was like, honestly, if you could be praying for me, as long as it's only to Jesus.
Speaker A:I was like, I was.
Speaker A:I was bleeding at that time.
Speaker A:And I was like, if you can pray for my daughter and my health because I'm bleeding, that would be great.
Speaker A:And then he never responded.
Speaker A:So that's what I mean.
Speaker A:Like, sometimes God calls us into situations, and some God, sometimes God calls us out.
Speaker A:Cause I was like, okay, Lord, I'm ready.
Speaker A:I'm ready to talk to this Mormon person.
Speaker A:And then clear.
Speaker A:I didn't hunt it down and continue to push, even though God made it clear it wasn't gonna happen.
Speaker A:So what I'm trying to say is be aware of every situation.
Speaker A:Check your heart with every situation.
Speaker A:Check if God really wants you to be pulled into these situations, whether it's something as small as talking to your neighbor about him, or as big as actually being called to go face to face with people in the riots where people are throwing rocks at people's faces and pulling them out of cars and beating them.
Speaker A:So I hope this was helpful.
Speaker A:I hope that this was encouraging because I know a lot of Christians feel a lot of stress and hurt and sadness, seeing the sin and evils that happen all over the world.
Speaker A:But I want you all to be encouraged to know that these things are supposed to happen.
Speaker A:It is supposed to get worse and worse and worse and worse.
Speaker A:And it's because Christ is gonna be coming again.
Speaker A:And we need to be sharing the good news to help more people come to the Lord before his return.
Speaker A:That's our job.
Speaker A:That is literally our one and only job and our one and only goal.
Speaker A:And God will make it so clear to you whether or not that person right in front of you is supposed to be spoken to by you or not, as long as you are making it not about you and about the Lord.
Speaker A:It is so evident and so clear.
Speaker A:And if you don't feel ready for that, don't do it.
Speaker A:Don't force it.
Speaker A:But you'll see.
Speaker A:Be surprised who God uses when you think that you're not ready.
Speaker A:And God's like, I want you right now as you are, you're perfect to speak to this person.
Speaker A:So heed God's word.
Speaker A:Don't rely so much on everyone else's opinion in their community.
Speaker A:And, you know, get in the word and get in scripture and God will speak to you intimately, whether it's about world events or your next neighbor, your best friend, your husband or wife or your kids.
Speaker A:So that's the casting seeds little, I don't know, holistic health truth that I can give for this week.
Speaker A:And I never, ever thought in a million years that I would ever be talking about this.
Speaker A:But world events are important.
Speaker A:There are things that we do need to pay attention to.
Speaker A:There are things that we need to acknowledge, and there are things that we can just pray for and, you know, hope for the best when it comes to the world.
Speaker A:But we all know God is ultimately in control.
Speaker A:Just because Satan has a handle on this world right now doesn't mean God's not fully in control of it and can do whatever he wants because he can.
Speaker A:So with that, you guys, I love you.
Speaker A:Thank you so much for listening to this episode.
Speaker A:And also thank you.
Speaker A:A huge shout out to I.
Speaker A:We've had the sweetest people send us gifts and treasures for our daughter Penelope, which I would have never expected.
Speaker A:Thank you so much.
Speaker A:Handmade blankets and clothing and teething.
Speaker A:Like, you guys are so sweet.
Speaker A:I would.
Speaker A:And we, I promise you, we don't need any of these things.
Speaker A:I think it's so, so sweet.
Speaker A:I would much rather have money for Bibles to be able to send to people.
Speaker A:If you guys would be okay with donating that which we do have a donation on under research@holyistic.co.
Speaker A:www.holistic.co is our website and if you go under the research page we have a donation button.
Speaker A:And if you want to donate things specifically to free research or to Bibles, you are more than welcome to do that and you can say what it's for.
Speaker A:So thank you so many, so much for the gifts and it's so sweet.
Speaker A:But I promise you I'd much prefer, and Jeremiah would much prefer to have money to send Bibles out to people.
Speaker A:Um, that's one of the main things that we're trying to do with this podcast and it'd be awesome if this became a self sustaining podcast.
Speaker A:But you know, until then, until then we're all going to keep casting seeds.
Speaker A:But I love you guys.
Speaker A:Keep praying for la.
Speaker A:Please keep playing Praying for Southern California because it's in my opinion it's literally a hell hole.
Speaker A:So even though we live here and I just pray that you guys are also all safe and if you're listening to this in la, I, I pray that you find and seek shelter in a church, in a solid Bible teaching church.
Speaker A:And if you need to reach out to me or have questions as to where those are, please do.
Speaker A:In the meantime, thank you all for listening and as always, keep casting seeds.
Speaker A:We hope you enjoyed learning how to cultivate God's creation from a Biblical perspective.
Speaker A:Holy Istic health is to prioritize whole person wellness through Christ like and comment on what topics we're casting seeds or casting pearls.
